Palaver

This was an assignment for an App Programming Lecture I had in University. Palaver is a messaging App. The Assignment was to fulfill 10 requirements including implementation of Google Cloud Messaging, Android Basics and Handling a REST API that stores user data, messages and a friend list for every account.

Enviroment: Java 1.8

Android API: 26 & upwards

Installing

Requirements: Android Studio, Smartphone running > Android 6 or emulator

  1. git clone https://git.reinkober-it.de/crunch/Palaver.git
  2. Import Palaver into Android Studio
  3. Build Palaver
  4. Run on emulator or smartphone
